Ski Trip 2017

All pupils have their own passports and EHICS with them.

Fat fingers and poor eyesight. ETA 1945 not 17. Sorry. It's the excitement of being home!

Drive time depends on traffic. Approx arrival time 1745. Will get pupils to ring individually when we get to switch island. Nearly there!

We have just landed in Manchester

We have a slight delay on the flight and are now due to depart at around 4.05. We will update again when we land in Manchester

We are just about to set off to Munich airport. It takes about 2 and a half hours, so we will update at the airport.

The slalom is complete, now to wait for the finishing positions!

A great day of skiing in some lovely fresh snow. Everybody is well and ready for dinner and then the quiz

It's been snowing.... All good and raring to go!

Ready for new ski day. Still misty but that usually means fresh snow at the top

Lots of changes in conditions and weather have brought us new challenges but everyone did well. Swimming pools and flumes also great. More tomorrow

Apologies for the blogging delays. Unfortunately the signal up on the mountain is not great and blog posts are not always working. Everyone is doing well and skiing on the mountain. The weather has been quite changeable today which hasn't helped our connectivity.  We are swimming when we return to the hotel, so we will update again later.

With fresh snow!

Low cloud makes for different conditions today. Mr Hughes has been reunited with his suitcase, so all is good!

We are safely back at the hotel after a good day of skiing and a quick visit to M Preis to stock up on drinks and snacks. Dinner and a relaxing evening planned for tonight.

The skiers are at the top of the mountain and the beginners are half way after a short shuttle ride.. Everyone seems to be having fun in the sun.. We will update again at lunch

We are all sorted with rooms, everyone fed and watered. Up early for skiing tomorrow so going to bed nice and early. Will post again tomorrow morning from the slopes. Gute nacht

12 hours on the road and we're here. Rooms,skifit and dinner then one more sleep till we ski! Everyone happy and healthy. Next post after dinner.
